Beta Software & Games

well just out of curiosity who in here is interested in beta testing software/games? I am thinking of creating a website dedicated just to track beta games/software and to discuss their developments all ine one place....

so just curious on how many ppl lready beta test software or games

I have only beat tested a couple of games on the PS2, never no software or games on computer, but you do get the chance to witness the game before it comes out which is cool.

For programs in general, I don't do betas. For games, it's almost worse because some of the bugs can be extremely frustrating after you really start getting into the game.

do you guys think it would be better to stick to only one side, like only for beta testing software and only beta testing games site?

if so what do you have more interest in?

myself i have never beta tested either one. but i do try to get into every beta testing i possible can. never get selected but i am going to do some open beta testing comming up soon with a few games.

i would think software beta would be prety annoying though, unless your really into that thing heh.

just my thought is all

This idea would only be worth while if several people test the same thing. Chances are that the software maker already has a forum/newsgroup created that everyone could join..
