freeware backup utilities and dl managers
does ne 1 know of good backup software to use in conjunction with a maxtor (dont know xact model) 250 gb drive? the software they give u is crap, it doesn't detect my drive as being a "back up device" and first tries to back up to the same hard drive. L8er it asks 4 "help i need an extra 25.5 gigs!!!" ne way, you can c that im pissed @ it. Also, because the drive is formated FAT32 so that windows and linux can read it, the windows backup utility can only back up 4 gigs b4 it gives me an error.
Also, while im at it, does ne1 know of any freeware dl managers. I have this utterly awesome 1 at the moment (IDM) but the trial is expiring and im too cheap to pay 4 it.
