How to configure an AOL e-mail account in Outlook Express

INTRODUCTION
This article describes how to configure Microsoft Outlook Express to connect to an America Online (AOL) e-mail account.

Until recently, AOL’s e-mail technology was not compatible with Outlook Express. AOL has now made it possible to configure later versions of Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, and Microsoft Entourage to use AOL e-mail accounts.
