Could have been caused by your mouse. How old is it?

Have you scanned for viruses, spyware and trojans?
Got a firewall installed to keep hackers out? List your system specs and OS you're using. Did you just install anything or update any drivers? Cricket

Ok, it sounds like when you scroll up, the page you are on refreshes. I had this problem a while back when I swapped mice on one of my machines.
Try going into the device manager and remove the mouse drivers, then reboot. It should be right as rain after the reboot

Maybe you need some gremlin repellent.
But seriously, you might want to try uninstalling and then reinstalling your video drivers. If that doesn't help, keep you eye on your system...something may be dying. Cricket

Before I had a bunch of sites open but only one firefox window and it was a problem. now I just have two windows open for firefox and one keeps scrolling up this time and the other is fine. I think that makes a difference for your solution FF bacause the problem is probably something else.

WOW!! It's been fine scince my last posting and now it started again. I had to open a new firefox window just to post this here. It stopped a couple of seconds ago though. I was just reading something and all of a sudden it just scrolled all the way down I kept trying to bring it back up and it started shaking up and down like crazy! then I let go and it went right backdown and a second later it started going up and down rapidly, but by itself! then it just went back down and I went to a second tab I had opened and it just went strait down. same thing with the last two ones I had open. So I opened a new browser window to post this here and it was fine but the other window still scrolled down. Now it stopped though. This is the wierdest thing!!
