Windows Media Player
Hi, I have been using windows media player since my first computer. And I have the lasted version. I keep having problems with it so I would like to get recommendations for other media players to use, I want something very user friendly. Could someone suggest a different media player.

VideoLAN aka VLC
Winamp Winamp for multi-purpose use, and VLC just for video.

I have been a big winamp fan for years, I have stuck with the earlier versions, (even when using XP) because they have overloaded the newer versions with a bit too much clutter for my liking and it has performed flawlessly. BUT recently I started using Jetaudio and I think it is great, it doesn't distort quite as often as winamp does (both old and new versions distort) and the interface is really nice.

What kind of problems are you having with WMP? Frankly I like WMP 10 much better than any other player out there.
