Ghost 9.0 Backup
I have a 120 GB WD hard drive with Windows XP Pro and a ton of games and apps. I also had a spare 1.2 GB drive that I have slaved to the WD. What I want to do is use the small drive for backing up just the base OS. I know better that to think I could ever zip the entire contents enough to fit on that small of a drive. I wish i had a bigger drive (10 - 20 GB) to backup to but they are more expensive that the large drives. Anyway...I cannot seem to figure out how to peel out the base OS out of all the rest of the stuff on the large drive. What I am wanting to do is just back up the OS so I can do a simple system restore from the small drive when it comes time to reformat, data loss, etc. Any suggestions?

Not feasible at this stage of the game. It would only be useful if you had your drive partitioned with ONLY the OS on the C partition, with all apps and data on other partitions.

Thanks anyway GLC. Any ideas what I can do with the small drive? I hate for it to just be in the case taking up power and doing nothing. Maybe I should just throw it away??
