keyboard uninstall
I bought a new key board. It is a multimedia keyboard It states that i should remove any other multimedia keyboard software. I have a very old keyboad New window standard 101/102 key micro natural ps/2key. Not sure, I tryed to uninstall. Went control panel, keyboard, hardwear, properties uninstall. It went through the process.Got a window to resart. After restart i got a window saying new device found restart to install. I can not seem to uninstall or do i have to with this older keyboard?

The easiest thing to do is, shut down your computer and remove the old keyboard, install the new keyboard and restart the computer. When windows says new hard ware detected close the wizard and put in the driver floppy/cd that came with the new keyboard. you might find that your new keyboard will work but not correctly with the old drivers, just navigate to where ever the new drivers are and click install, if it is cd it may autostart. Once you have installed the new drivers you can simply remove the old drivers in System>Hardware>Keyboard. If it doesn't bother you and your new keyboard is working ok, you can leave the old drivers alone.

No need to uninstall the old keyboard - that's the standard keyboard driver you are using now. Just let it reinstall itself then install your software if you need it.
