If you mean a word processor, you can't beat Microsoft Word in my opinion.
Powerpoint and Excel are separate programs but you can these three programs, plus some more, bundled together in a package called Microsoft Office. The latest version is Office XP and, unless you're a developer, the standard version should do you fine. EDIT: If you are ever using a non-Windows system, check out Open Office.org as a very good all-in-one Word Processor and Spreadsheet equivalant for Office. "Typing software"? You mean like "Mavis Bacon Teaches Typing"?
Or are you looking for a word processor program like MS Word? Or a office suite like MS Office? Cricket

Microsoft Office 2003, Openoffice.org 1.1.3, or Corel Wordperfect Suite 12.
If you want Excel and Powerpoint, then you need Microsoft Office. |
