Norton Ghost - backup image vs partition?

In Norton Ghost is it better to backup your drive to a Ghost image file, or to create a partition and use Ghost to clone the drive?

(These are public use computers and the purpose would be to restore or "reclone" to eliminate any changes made by users, or recover from inadvertent mal/spyware or viruses downloaded by them.)

Whichever way you want to do it. If you're running the multicast software, an image is used. If not, you can clone individually.

Thanks

Thanks ForceFlow. Don't know if people usually post thank yous here or not.

According to the documentation there doesn't to be any difference, but manuals don't always answer your questions.... Perhaps the only advantage of a partition is if the boot partition would crash....
