well i've gone to trillian, gaim and back to aim. i'm really not having much of problem with aim at all except for one annoying quirk. whenever there is a travelzoo advertisement up in the top window and i accidentally go anywhere near it, it pops-up! i have adblock and all that stuff and nothing stops it. is this anything i can get rid of or stop? is there anything which i can use to just get rid of those advertisements all together?
thanks! Last edited by nin137; 11-18-2004 at 12:20 PM. |

Add the following entries to your hosts file: (C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts)
127.0.0.1 ar.atwola.com 127.0.0.1 empiremovies.com 127.0.0.1 xlonhcld.xlontech.net 127.0.0.1 VTOT.proxy.aol.com 127.0.0.1 ads.web.aol.com 127.0.0.1 ads.aol.com If you edit it with Notepad, make sure you don't save it as a .txt file, it's hosts with no extension. |
