strange message
On start up this morning I recieved this messge. This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Contact the applications support team for more information. ch\desktop messenger\8876480\program\backweb-8876480.exe Does any one now what this means or where I can find the ans.?

It sounds like it's a problem with Windows Messenger. Check here for more information on it.

Do you use messenger? If not just go to add/remove programs and click the add/remove Windows components button. Messenger should be one of the programs you can remove.

I do not use Win. messenger.But is there a differance between Win. mess. and desktop mess?

That's your Logitech software. Uninstall it, then reinstall it without the desktop messenger component, you don't need it, all it does is automatically search for updates and get in your way (spyware).
