Not seeing any video on any video file..
Well, I've been searching the internet, with no particular luck I might add, for an answer to this problem, and it led me here.
Basically, with any video I try, (other than .mov quicktime videos), I do get sound, but theres no video, only a black screen. I've tried multiple .avi files, .mpg files, and .wmv files with no success. I know for sure I've got the right codecs for all the files, and I've tried multiple media players, inluding DivX Player, Windows Media Player 10 and Winamp to name a few, and all of them gave me the exact same problem. I have, however, been able to view the .avi and .mpg files through VirtualDub without any problems. But, I've recently been trying to view a .wmv file, which is of course not supported by VirtualDub. I've searched through all the settings, etc. And I just can't figure out how to get it to work... I even re-installed my video drivers, re-installed all my codecs, and nothing is working. It hasn't always been this way, though. But I can't figure out what it was I did that caused it to change... Do any of you have any ideas as to what the problem is here? Its got to be some simple setting or something I accidentally changed, but I simply can't figure it out and I'm really getting tired of searching for the solution. Thanks for the help

Of course..
AMD Athalon 2400+ ATI Radeon 9800 XT 2 512mb Corsair pc3200 ram 80gb Western Digital hard drive 20gb Maxtor hard drive Sound Blaster Audigy DFI LanParty NFII Ultra B motherboard. WindowsXP Home (sp2) Although, I've had my system like this for a while and haven't had this problem untill recently. So I wouldn't think it would be any kind of hardware issue.
