ghost 9 or ghost 2003
what i am looking for are detailed steps to perform to make an image of a hard drive so that if the drive fails I can restore the system back once a new drive is installed. so the cd with the image needs to be bootable with ghost initializing and it starts the restore function.
have got both copies cuz it only cost me 35.00 so it was cheap plus i got partition magic for same price. everytime i try to write the image to my dvdrw pacific digital 8x it keeps telling me the cd is not formatted. have no idea what the heck is wrong here. so far am not a fan of dvdrw's think i will go back to my normal cdrw. if anyone knows the best way to accomplish what i am trying to do it would be greatly appreciated. am getting very frustrated and have already thrown away 3 dvdr cd's. this is going to make me drink heavily today. i am not against uninstalling version 9 ghost and going back to 2003 if thats what you suggest. my system is xp pro, 512 ram |
