Excel protection ?

Our department uses a protected excel spreadsheet I created and we email daily to outside personnel.

We would like to be able to insert the sheet into emails without having to attach it (using Send To Mail Recipient instead of Mail Recipient (as Attachment). This way it will be visible when other recieve it and not have to open up an attachment.

Is there a way to do this without having to turn the protection off? I looked through the options of the protection box and didn't see anything usefull for this.

We are using Excel 2003 SE

Thanks.

Would it be too clumsy to create a new email in HTML format, open up your excel worksheet, select the relevant cells, copy then paste directly into the message section of your email? it should port across but don't know how practical that is for you...

99.9999% sure you can't do this. You'd have to make a "print screen" of it and insert it to the mail.

In order for it to work usually you need to ensure the format of the email is in HTML or you don't get the formatting coming through. Though this also allows for the email data to be cut and pasted back into excel at it's destination if needed but it only transfers values and formatting as is (WYSIWYG), but not formulas.

I am not sure how big of a file image it would be trying to transfer a screen dump via the email/internet...possibly up to and over 2MB. Might be a bit of an overhead.

Cheers for that. I have been shot down a little lately and being relatively new I am a tad paranoid, if you couldn't tell post has been edited. Apologies for the mis-understanding.
