DirectX Question
Ok, so as most of you know i have an old gateway 2000 G6-200 XL.
I need directX 9.0 for my new video card to work. My computer does not have directX and I need to download it, this site here,DirectX 9.0c End-User Runtime , is for DirectX 9.0c End-User Runtime, It says near the top "Microsoft DirectX® 9.0c End-User Runtime will update your current version of DirectX", It says update and i dont have DirectX to update. So Which DirectX 9.0 download, downloads DirectX 9.0? here is a link to all DirectX downloads. DirectX Downloads. Help Please |

I think you said that computer is running Win98SE...if so, it does have at least DirectX 6.0 installed. Just download the first option..."DirectX 9.0c End-User Runtime".

on my computer i went to start, find, typed in directX, and nothing. How can i find out if i have it?

Start> Run> type in "dxdiag" (without the quotes) and click on Okay.
