Floppy problems
Why would floppys that I have, that I had put stuff on from my one computer that runs 98se, not work in my new computer which is xp home. I get a pop up window saying that it needs to be formated, so if I do I will lose what I have on them. Thanks

Floppies will work with both OSs with no problem. You may have a floppy drive problem. Put a blank floppy in the system that won't read the floppy and try formatting it, putting files on it, and try it again for a test. Also, if you have another known good floppy with stuff on it, try it in both machines.
