Imaging software: edit text and graphics
hi:
Looking for some imaging software where I can create a contact sheet with seven to twelve images on one page. I would also like to print a specific message under each image. Tried Irfanview, nice little piece of software but will not allow me to add text to a contact sheet. thanks |

Most "album" type of software will do this, like Jasc's Photo Album. Many photo editors will also do this, such as Paint Shop Pro. If you're looking for something "free" I can't help there, except for you can also use most word processors to import the images and type in as much text as you want.

Thanks:
In Paint Shop Pro 7 I have used the Print Multiple Features but I find that I cannot enter text under the photos to identify them. Is there a way? thanks again |

One easy work-around is to open a new, blank picture. Use the Text tool to type in your caption. Use the square selection tool to crop out everything but just the text. Repeat for each photo. Use the Print Multiple (or is it called Print Layout?). Position the each photo and then the caption you just made, resizing as required. I just tested it on a different version of PSP and it works.
