Norton Ghost 2003 (SystemWorks 2004) Problem

I am trying to backup my C drive using Norton Ghost 2003 to an external drive connected to a USB port. Is this possible. I am having trouble assigning an ID to the external drive. Any suggestions? WolfpackRon.

I don't use Ghost, but in general, doing that is only possible if the bootdisk or reboot process loads DOS-level USB drivers. The imaging/cloning software I use came with my USB drive housing (Apricorn) and is specifically written to do just that.
