D3d8thk.dll
Whenever i try to play a game, it gives me an error
window stating that "A reduired .DLL file, D3D8THK.DLL was not found." I've tried reinstalling DirectX several times, but it doesn't help, and DirectX diagnostic doesn't think anything's wrong with it. Can anyone please help me (btw, if it has anything to do with my problem, my OS is windows ME)? thanks in advance. |

What are your system specs?
What games? Do you have the latest drivers for your video card?

What version of DirectX do you have, and do you have the latest available drivers for your video card?
Search for the file, and if you DO find it on your system, copy it to the game folder. |

Time for a new video card. The Rage 128 Pro doesn't support DirectX 9 even with the latest driver. It may *work* but not properly.

ok, i found a nice looking video card (haven't bought it yet), and it says it supports direct x 9. does that mean it also works with 9.0c?

Yep, it'll work. 9.0c is just an updated version of directX 9.
