No idea what you are talking about. Exchange is a Microsoft Mail Server. Did you actually install Exchange on this computer? Exchange doesn't change any Internet settings AFAIK.

Exchange will not install on XP Pro - it requires a server OS.

Plus Active Directory on 2000/2003. Not totally sure if you could install Exchange 5.5 on a XP Pro. You could maybe trick it into installing.

It pops up in IE, because your default email program is Outlook and your default account in Outlook is an Exchange one. When you click on the email link it tries to send using Outlook. Try going into your Control Panel/Mail/ and removing the Exchange and MS Mail accounts. Also if you don't use Outlook but Outlook Express instead or other mail client, in IE, click Tools/Internet Options/Programs and make sure that you have the proper program for the Default email one.
