"movie writer" software?

i don't know if anyone on here would have any idea about this kind of software, but here it goes. i'm looking into some kind of software that would help someone who is writing a movie...

any suggestions?

By 'writing a movie,' do you mean editing the video associated with making a movie? If so, Adobe Premiere Pro is the benchmark for such software. For a much less expensive choice, you could use Pinnacle's Studio 9.

bot, I guess you're looking for some sort of template that you would insert the character names and lines into? Have you heard of such a thing, or were you wondering if it existed? Like bailey said, Word could be set up for that.

no, i haven't heard of anything. that's what i meant initially, if anyone knew of any programs... it doesn't seem like anyone does
