Welcome to PC Mech forums

First of all, calm down - what can you give us more information about the problem? These may include more system specifications, what operating system, if it is a desktop or a laptop, and was anything unusual occuring prior to its refusing to leave the power save mode.

Welcome fireitup. A couple pointers for you. First you need to provide more information before anyone will be able to provide assistance. Second, hidden swear words is not allowed here (neither are un-hidden ones!). Take another look at the rules you agreed to abide by. And third I'm moving your thread to a more correct location.

If it's plugged in, uplug it. If it's already unplugged, try taking out the battery.

Hold the power button in for at least 5 seconds.

Really...interesting. Good thing I just recently cleaned out my system. Was it just excessive dust accuming around the memory sockets which caused it to overheat or something? Wierd how that happens. Congrats on your fixing the problem.
