access help
hey everyone, i need some help with access. i'm trying to import a spreadsheet into a table. it works alright except for one field. the field has mostly numbers, but every now and then it'll have a letter appended to it.
now, for some reason it doesn't import the alphanumeric portion of it. i've checked all my tables to make sure they're set as text and not numbers, but i can't find anyplace where it'd hinder this stuff from pulling through. can anyone help me out? i'd be happy to give you a dummy database for a while if you need it.

In Access: When you imported the table, did you remember to set each field to the desired type? It works both ways; first make sure that the entire column/row is set as Text. Then when importing the table make sure that the field's are set as text.
Send on the excel sheet, not the access db and let's all have a go |
