Anyone know how to import 'sent' emails?

Not getting any feed back on this from previous post so here goes again:

I'm upgrading computers and was wondering how to move 'sent' emails from old to new computer. I'm using Thunderbird.

thanks

Have never seen Thunderbird, but look and see if it has an export/import function..Export would create a file you can burn to disk then import on the new..
