I am relatively new to .gif files. I know hwo to make a basic gif but was wondeirng how to make one that looks liek it was a mpeg.
example:

is there a way to convert a movie to a gif? or do you break it down to frames being saved as a gif and how?
thanks in advance.

Some video editing applications (like Adobe Premiere 6.0 and up) are capable of taking a video clip and rendering it as a series of graphic images that can later be constructed as a animated .gif file. Otherwise, you'd have to extract each frame individually.

Welcome to PC Mechanic !!

Jasc's Animation Shop can import some AVIs and MPEGs and change / convert them into animated .gifs.
