Color & Resolution Help
I have a Packard Bell computer model 850 with a 1412SL Monitor. I only have a limit of 16 colors and 640x480. I just formatted the computer, and now it has these colors. Any idea of what I need?

don't know about that particular computer but normally when you format you need to install new vidio drivers or you only get the 16 color and 640x480 resolution. the default drivers won't go any higher on some os's by default.

You do not need monitor drivers, you need graphics adapter (video card) drivers. They should be on one of your PB disks/CD's, they are not included with generic Windows.

Don't create multiple threads on the same subject. I closed the other two.
