Sending/Receiving Faxes with no land line
Hey guys. We are completely wireless in our new house. We built it without connecting the landline. Bills have definately been cheaper without that monkey on my back.
Anywho, I just bought a Canon MF5550 multi-fxn and wish to use my fax. I want to send faxes out and be able to receive faxes. I have heard winfax pro is good but wanted to get a wider variety of opinions on its usefulness and any other suggestions for software would be appreciated. -Thx |

As I understand WinFax Pro, you can send faxes via e-mail, but it requires a land line otherwise.
I'm also completely wireless here at home as well as at the studio. We are strickly a B2B post-production house, so We don't need a landline. When I do need to fax, I use eFax. Since you've got a standalone all-in-one, I don't know how much use you'll get out of the actual fax option without the landline. Dave. |
