Which is the best program to make professional looking newsletters??

I would say that good old Microsoft Word if great for that type of project. Use the Table function to keep columns and sections organized and aligned. You can also insert images and move them around to where you want them. Give it a shot (if you haven't already) and see what you think.

Adobe Pagemaker. Expensive. Microsoft Publisher does a pretty good job too, and is a lot more affordable. If you are using an outside print house they will want them in Pagemaker or Quark, readable on a Mac.

Many are getting away from Pagemaker and moving towards InDesign. In addition to being expensive, Pagemaker, InDesign and Quark are not things that you can start using right away. There is a pretty steep learning curve. Publisher is the cheapest.

Is this going to be print only newsletter or online as well? You can save a lot of money by not having to mail them out.
