Firefox/IE default question...

Hi All!
I've just completed the jump away from IE to Firefox. I'm happy so far. I have a question regarding the little warning about default browser.
What are your suggestions on which browser should be considered default?
I currently have IE as my default still, while I wait for any suggestions.
Thanks in Advance.

Default browser is started when you click on URL shortcuts and URLs in other programs, set the browser you you want to use as deafult.

I appreciate the suggestions, but perhaps I should be a little more specific in my question.
If I were to make Firefox my default, will I encounter any problems should I decide to switch back to IE as default one day? I seem to remember a nighmare when attempting this years ago with Netscape.

Also, in making Firefox my default, will this hinder any windows updating?

The only thing that a default browser does is load when you click on a link in an email or a link in a Word document, etc. You want hurt anything at all by changing it to FF and Windows Update won't have any problems. If you open up IE, click on Tools/Internet Options/Programs, you can uncheck Internet Explorer should check to see if it is the default browser to turn off the warning.

even when you are on FF when you hit start and click windows update it reverts back to IE at least it does on my computer. and yes you can revert back to IE at any time without a problem doing what mairving says.
