A game i want

Is there a way to copy a game that is installed on a pc, so i can install it on mine ??? my daughter was given a pc , and this game was on it .,

Beside probably being illegal it generally can't be done.

The installation process copies files to the windows folders and usually makes many entries to the registry...You'd have to know all this info is inorder to copy...

Well... depending on the game, it may or may not be illegal. If it is shareware, then it wouldn't be, but if so, you should be able to do a search on the net and find it for download.

If it runs off a single .exe file or a single folder, then it can be done by copying the file or folder over. However, most games (as Stevey mentioned) have things installed in the registry and the windows folder, in which case it would be very difficult if not impossible.

That really is not a shareware or one-exe-file game. You gotta buy it somewhere.
