Send email without a send list

I receive email from people that send to 6 or 7 people but in the sent to area it says the senders email address.
Is it as simple as sending it to yourself and BCC it to 6 others, or is there a different way to do this?

Bcc: is the simplest way to do it. If you want to get into more complex ways of doing it then yeah there are mailing lists that will do it too.
