Norton 2005
Hea guys,im having trouble with Norton Firewall 2005.I installed it recently, however when i go on-line it doesnt allow me to connect to any websites.I am fairly sure i have it all configured ok,and went through help and support menus at the symantec website, but still no luck.I get a " internet explorer script error" when i try to configure the firewall settings.I can access the internet o with the firewall turned off.I tryed to uninstall it and install it again but i get the same error.I was going to try and contact symantec but it looks like you have to pay some kinda costs for there help!

A lot of people around here (me included) would just tell you not to use the Norton firewall, but let's keep any further comments to suggestions on how to fix it from people that are familiar with it.

It seems your firewall settings are set extremely high, or somehow by accident you managed to block in your FW settings Internet Explorer itself from accessing the internet. Take a look at your programs list and see what is blocked.
