Firefox and gmail hangs

Hey,

I've been experiencing this problem as of late and it's really starting to bug me.

I will check my gmail, click on a pcmech email directing me to a post when someone has responded, and it'll bring up firefox to the post. That's normal. The problem is if I click back to gmail while firefox is loading the page and click the drop down menu to delete the post, the screen will freeze momentarily (3 seconds or so). It does this even if I stay on firefox screen (the new one which just opened pcmech) and if I try to scroll it'll freeze up for a few seconds as well. It doesn't do this with any other website ... so I'm kind of confused.

Anybody have this problem? It's nothing major, but it just bugs the living daylights out of me.

Thanks.

I've noticed that Firefox hangs when browsing through the forums as well -- every now and then it'll do it when a page loads. I just got rid of a trojan last week and went through all the spyware and adaware scans, and everything was clean. What's going on here?

Just be patient - it's the ad servers. Does it to me with Opera too.

Oh ok, I thought it was something to do with a possible virus or something. As long as it's something common then I'm fine with it. Thanks.
