Support_388945a0 and HelpAssistant
Anyone see these log-on names before? If you look at a program like Everest, it displays these two as user log-ons for your computer.
Anyone know what they are, why they're there? (See attatched image)

Yeah, those are very common with OEM preloads. They are for tech support to use for remote assistance.

The two user accounts in question are for windows remote support.

Thanks. Where can I learn more about these user accounts? I don't see them as available aliases at the log-on screen.
The HelpAssistant sounds kind of interesting, and I'd like to try it with the computer adjacent to mine. Possible? Dave |
