cannot use my screen copy programs
I have two programs (Printkey Pro and Screen Shot) that used to allow me to save, as a picture, all or part of my desk to a floppy or other area of the computer. Now when I try I get a message of "You do not have permission to write to A:\ . " This cannot be the fault of the listed programs as both behave the same way. As for permission; as far as I know I am the administrator as this is a single home computer and was set up for anyone to use all parts of it. Is there an explanation for this latest behavior? Better yet, is there a cure?

Can you write to a floppy disk normally? (Not using those programs). Make sure the disk is not write protected as well (little tab on the bottom).

I feel a bit stupid at this point. Played around some more and found that the floppy did not have all the space free, even though there was nothing on the disc. Formatted the floppy (full format) and it seems all is now OK. Why the taken bytes on an empty floppy - I don't know. It would be interesting if you could answer that for my knowledge.
