video software

need a good program to join video clips, can anyone help????
mpg format, I have a bunch and was wondering if there's a way to combine them to have one movie instead of several clips!!!

hi

i wanted to do the same thing so i bought ROXIO 6 EASY CD AND DVD CREATER.

By clicking on dvd builder drag and drop film clips to empty boxes(1 clip per box)
click preview and apressto burn to dvd.

You have several choices when it comes to video editing:

If you are looking for a freeware utility then VirtualDub would be right for you. Do a google search for it, and you should get the download link.

As well, there is Windows Movie Maker. however I would never recommend it to anyone, though it does come installed if you are running XP, and its free.

You have a couple more options as well, Pinnacle Studio, or Adobe Premiere.

If you plan to just be editing a few home movies now and then, Pinnacle Studio is for you.

However, if you plan on doing lots of editing, or doing anything remotely proffessional, then grab a copy of Premiere.

Adobe makes a limited edition of Premiere that can be had for a little over a hundred dollars, or you could look on ebay for an older full version of Premiere.

I run Premiere 6 and it runs great.

if you like premiere, but done want to spend all the money, take a look at premiere elements, same concept as photoshop elements
