translate web pages?

Is there a program that can translate web pages to English on the fly?? Say I want to view a Russian or Japanese web page but need it translated to English without having to send the page to another web site..........thanks.....peace.......im out

Google will usually do it. If a page in another language comes up in the search results, there should be an option to translate the page.

Altavista's BabelFish is also capable of translating web pages for many languages. Although you do need to copy & paste the URL so I suppose that is like "having to send the page to another web site."

I don't think I've actually seen a seperate program to handle this. But there might be a browser plug-in, although I looked for one for FireFox and came up empty.

Note that any translation done though one of these websites will not be 100% accurate.

If you use the browser, Mozilla Firefox, I believe there is an extension out for web page translation. Not sure though.
