Windows XP Product Key
I was thinking of doing a clean installation of Windows XP Home Edition on my old HP computer but before looking at the side of my pc or anything to see if the product key was there I downloaded 3 different Windows XP product key finders, out of the 3 2 was the same and 1 was different, then I look on the side of my computer and I see where the HP manufacturers or whoever put the sticker there with the product key on it and it has a totally different product key number from the ones I got from using keyfinder programs, any idea why?

Large vendors like HP & Dell clone their drives with "their" key code. You need to use the one on the sticker..

Like EzyStvy said, you have to use the key on the sticker on the machine.
Here is the procedure for recovering the key from XP: http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=119846
