I'm fairly new here so please forgive me if I error. I am having problems with partition magic. I created a partition to install a new os on but there was an error during install so I decided not to install it. Now the computer wants to boot from the partition where the partial install is. How do I boot from the partition where windows xp is installed?
Thanks |

PM is a bootable CD. You could boot directly to PM and use it to delete the problem partition thereby reverting back to the default XP install as the boot os.

As soon as you get the machine back up where you can reach the previous operating system you need to get the emergency boot disks for boot magic and partition magic created.
BM EBD resets the default and PM EBD set allows you to manipulate the partitions with their GUI. |
