Does "PC Booster" really work?
When I clicked on the ad from this forum, which takes you to PC Boosters advertisement...it tells me my browser is Netscape 5.0, yet I use both IE and Firefox?
I'm just wondering if it detects the same for all computers, making those that see it think that it really does speed up a computer, when it may just marginally? Anyone using this product? If so, what where the results? Thanks... Dale |

It is detecting your Firefox browser, which is based on netscape.
I wouldn't touch that with a 10 foot pole, at least not without some thorough research. Not much good can come out anything named PC Booster or RAM booster, or Internet Optimizer, at least 75%, if not more of those proggies are poison to your PC. Sorry advertisers and Mods. |
