How to setup a Win98/WinNT dual-boot system?

A coworker has a pc currently running Windows NT, and now he also wants to run Windows 98. He will be using some applications that require either one or the other operating systems. He says he tried running the 98 installation through windows NT and it told him that he needed to go into DOS.

How do you set up a dual-boot system? I've heard of this being done but have no idea how.

The applications he will be running include an older version of AutoCAD and some older games.

Thanks for any advice, I hope I posted this in the appropriate place.

To do a 98/NT dual boot, the boot partition must be FAT16, 2gb or smaller. Install 98 first, followed by NT.

My best suggestion is get rid of NT completely and just install Win2000 - and run everything in 2000, using compatibility mode if necessary.
