Adobe photoshop error
Just purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 3 ($100) and an error is shutting down the program; (see attachment). I tried getting answers from adobe but they have no e-mail support, nor even a support forum. All help is via a long distance phone line. I am deaf and must use a relay service which is for transmitting technical information; to say nothing about time consumed in trying to transmit information with a relay operator. My call to Adobe to explain the situation consumed over 45 minutes. Their only solution (company procedures) was to purchase a service contract for $169 at which time they would allow e-mail contact.
Can someone help solving this problem; both the attachment error and the "procedures" of Adobe. In the meantime, be advised of this company policy BEFORE purchasing Adobe products. |

Adobe has a large network of user to user forums which are also frequented by their professionals. You can check them out HERE. Down the page you'll find a Photoshop Elements-specific forum. Register, post your question, and select the email notification option. Hopefully someone there can be of more help. Good luck.

went back there and peered a bit closer. found out one had to first go back to the "topic" and then post. Did not see anything to check for a reply by e-mail but did see a box marked "Subscribe to the discussion by mail," and did check this off. I will keep my fingers crossed now and hope for a return. Thanks.

Finally gave up , did a reinstall and all seems to be working fine now. Still very disappointed with Adobe's services regarding problems. I did notice that there were quite a few complaints regarding using Photoshops Slide Maker on the forum site. Never did get an answer to the question I posted there. I will just ignore the slide maker as I have other software that apparently is much better and far more stable. Only problem I see now is that I still don't know what caused the error and sure don't like to think have having to reinstall every time I get a problem with he software.
