Lightsaber Photoshop
Hey,
I am trying to make a video of a person wielding a lightsaber and have encountered some problems. I am using this tutorial I found online and have found it uses a different version of Photoshop than my Photoshop 7. I'm not familiar enough with the program to figure out how to substitue what I need. http://www.theforce.net/fanfilms/sof...ng_finley2.asp I filmed the footage and dropped it into Premiere, then exported it as a raw filmstrip and opened it in Photoshop. I then went through each frame and drew a line / polygon around the blade and then filled them with white. The tutorial then asks me to click the background layer and go into Image/Adjust/Layers and change the upper output level to 0. The problem here is that I only have one input layer option and one output layer in my options, not the upper and lower options asked for in the tutorial. I countered this by making a mask over the layer which gave me the same effect, then flattened and saved the image. It's step five that's giving me the main trouble now. What do I do? Thanks for any and all help. I've posted the above on adobe's website as well, but I was hoping I could find some quicker help here. Thanks again.
