Reinstalled WinXP on a Dell optiplex sx280 now I lost..
the drivers for my on board NIC,video, sound, etc. I can not access the internet or network to finish configuring this PC. I dont have a recovery disk either. Dell.com doesn't seem to help much. Any ideas? Thanks.

Did you use the Dell recovery software?

Dell used to stick an identification number on their systems, that when run through their support site, would tell you exactly what was in your machine, as well as provide you with a service manual. I dont know if they still do that, but it would be worth a look.
You could also Google for drivers for your specific model of machine. |

If you do not have the Dell resource CD for that machine, you are going to have to use another machine to download the drivers from Dell support and burn them on a CD or put them on a USB flash drive or something.
Go to support.dell.com, choose home/home office, click downloads, put in the service tag number. |
