Moving Outlook address book to Outlook Express?
I'm having trouble. I am going back to Outlook Express after using Outlook 2002 for a couple of years. I can't seem to figure out how to get my addresses from Outlook 2002 to Outlook Express 6. Thank you.

I usually use Outlook's File>Import and Export feature to export the contacts folder into a .csv (Comma Separated Value) file then use OE's File>Import>Other Address book and point it at that csv file you created as the file to import from.

This is a common solution to nearly any import/export that you need to perform across proprietary standards and will help you a lot if you remember to do this: always try exporting to and importing from non-proprietary standards. For example, filetypes like WABs or .URLs, .TOCs (for eudora) etc etc are proprietary standards, that are used by a particular program. Working with CSVs will remove all the bindings that programs use that only they can understand and provide you with a universal format. A CSV is nothing but a text file where columns are separated by commas. Try openning up the address book csv in notepad to see how the information is stored.
