Question Full CPU useage when running Juno

I've noticed recently that when I open my Juno (e-mail) software that it slows down other programs that are running. My task manager (Home XP) shows that the CPU useage jumps to 100 or so when it's running. When I close it, the CPU useage is fine. The file that causes this is jsps.exe (juno network service) in the "bin" folder. It seems to open only when you open up the juno application file. I have written their tech web site, but haven't heard anything yet and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

What antivirus and spyware scanners are you using? try updating them and running them in safemode, just to be certain you haven't picked up an infection of some sort.
Have a read of this thread for information on running scans in safemode.

Here is what I have discovered by trial and error...when I open up the Juno software both juno.exe and jsps.exe (Juno network service) become active on my task manager processes tab...when I shut down the jsps.exe operation my CPU useage goes back to normal (around 2-3 per cent)...This tells me that jsps.exe is the culprit...I can still download my emails after shutting down jsps.exe because I do not use dial up...I have a cable connection to the internet...SO HERE IS MY QUESTION...IS THERE ANYWAY I CAN PREVENT THE JSPS.EXE FROM LOADING WHEN I OPEN UP THE JUNO SOFTWARE? The Juno techs are insisting I need that file to download e-mails, but so far I've had no problems after I shut down that particular file...maybe I should just delete it or maybe there is somewhere where I can prevent it from loading up...

I just read on the juno site, something about as of June 1st all free email accounts will have to be checked with juno web based email. I know this isn't the answer your looking for, but why not start using the web based juno option and not even open juno's software? Maybe even uninstall it completely. Just an option.
