The processor is an AMD Athalon XP.

Thank you for your help.

I tried booting with Windows 98 and ME and it asks me if I would like to boot from the hard drive or the CD-ROM. I chose the CD-ROM and then nothing happens. The only operating system that works on it is XP. I put the XP
CD in the drive and it asks for a XP CD with SP1, which I do not have. The new hard drive that I put in came straight out of the box.

Thank you.

The hard drive is not formatted. This computer will not read the boot disks that I have and I know they work. The only thing that seems to work is windows XP, but I do not have XP with SP1.

Thank you.
