RealVNC 4.0

Hi, I hope I am in the right area, if not please redirect me. I have used VNC 3.37in the past and it was simple, now, the 4.0 version is confusing. I'm having a time figuring out if I am to start the service run in sever and user mode and then open the viewer, (viewer/listening) If anyone is familiar with this could you direct me please. I use this for jobs and if I cant figure it out, I won't be able to tell my clients what to do.
Thank you in advance,
Mary

i use VNC here at home. i just install it and put a shortcut to the server mode in the startup folder. then on another computer click the viewer mode, type the IP and password and i'm in. now i don't know what the other features do or anything. sorry if that isn't any help.
