Making Outlook Rules?
Can I make a mail rule in Outlook that will not accept mail that is addressed cc: to me? I get a lot of SPAM that is not actually addressed to me, but it is CC:.
If I can make such a rule, what would it look like? |

CaptTuna,
You can make a rule in Outlook that could permanently delete any message that has your address on CC. Or, you could have it move it to the Deleted Items folder if there is a chance you may receive a legitimate mail with your address on CC. This info may be a little different depending on which version of Outlook you have, but it should provide a general idea: TOOLS > RULES AND ALERTS > NEW RULE -Start from a blank rule -Check messages when they arrive -check 'where my name is in the CC box' -select the action you wish to take; ex. select permanently delete it *if you choose to permanently delete the item you will get a prompt warning you that they will not be able to be recovered -set exceptions to the rule (if any) That should do it!
