ebay software business question
I have a bunch of software that I want to sell on ebay. How do I go about doing that? I Have an ebay account but I need to know whats legal, illegal, etc.

First of all, you have to know what the license agreement says for the software that you want to sell... If it is NFR then you cant really sell it legally.
Ebay does allow academic software to be sold, and I have seen NFR stuff being sold as well, even though it is NFR. Of course copies of software cannot be sold, nor can bootleg software. And of course, if you still have it installed on your machine, then you shouldn't be selling it. You may want to list it for sale here on PCMECH before taking it to Ebay. |
